It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Trevor David Reeves on the 12th August, 2025. Amelia, George, San, and Glenys are grateful for being able to surround him with love until the very end.
Trev was a well-loved man who never stopped creating and giving back. His absence will be felt in many communities, particularly The Wonthaggi Men’s Shed, The Victorian Clubman’s Builders Group, and the international kite community.
We thank the team at the Alfred Hospital for looking after Trev in his final days.
Dr Adrian Clarke and nurses Ezra, An, and Hannah cared for Trev with tender hands and compassion, and we appreciate everything they did to ensure he was comfortable until the last moment. We also thank Sam from DonateLife for helping Trev to continue giving, even in death; his eyes will be restoring sight to two people, and parts of his heart will live on in others too.
We will be celebrating Trev’s life at Ashburton Uniting Church on Friday 22nd August at 11am. In lieu of flowers, we are asking that you please make a small donation to The Black Dog Institute in Trev’s name.
The family would really love it if you could wear something colourful in honour of Trevor to celebrate his life.
