Dymphna passed away peacefully at the age of 92.
Beloved wife of John Buxton Laurie AC
Much loved mother of Amanda, Robin, Timothy and Emma and mother-in-law of Katarina and Anna. Adored grandmother of Aloysius, Rudi, Zsa Zsa, Minne, Duke and Francis.
Great-grandmother of Lennon and grandmother-in-law of Allison.
Dymphna spent her working life dedicated to Disability Services, Equal Opportunity and Public Advocacy.
She will be missed by all and not forgotten.

A Memorial Service to honour and celebrate Dymphna’s life will be held on 19th November 2026 at the Royal Brighton Yacht Club, 253 Esplanade, Brighton commencing at 11.30am.
