Alexander Roy Gunning passed away peacefully on the 17th April, 2019.
He was the loved and loving husband of Sue.
Adored father of Megan and Darrin,
father-in-law to Rachael and Corey.
Cherished Poppy to Jye.
Proud and loyal member of the Derelicts MC, HMAS Sydney VLSVA and Vice President of the Navy Vietnam Association SS.
Roy will always be loved, fondly remembered and cherished by all.
Friends and family are invited to a gathering to honour and celebrate the life of Alexander “Roy” Gunning at the Boyd Chapel, Springvale Botanical Cemetery, 600 Princes Highway, Springvale on Wednesday 24th April, 2019 commencing at 2pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made to the Prostrate Cancer Foundation of Australia or Kidney Health Australia in Roy’s name.
Subsequent to the above service there will be a ceremony hosted by the Derelict’s MC on the 25th May 2019. This will consist of a procession departing the clubhouse on Hannah Street, Benalla at 2.00pm to the Benalla Cemetery to place Roy’s ashes with his family.
